Send a message to the person who requested a photo of the grave monument of Ellen Davies with the following comment:
My cousin and I were talking recently about tracing our fathers (Keith and Neil Dale-Jones) family tree. He mentioned his father sometimes went to visit (from Llangefni) a grave 'in the mountains'. I immediately told him I used to go with mine to Penmachno and I asked him if the surname Davies meant anything to him, which it didn't. On going through the alphabetical list this morning Ellen Davies jump up at me and when I saw the picture of the grave this is how I remember it; black stone surround and white chipping. There appears to be a lot of writing and a more detailed photo might tell us more. As I remember, my father also tended two other graves at the same cemetery but I don't know whose or remember their names. We know there's a link to Llandudno but not sure what it is, other than our Grandfather moved there on divorce from our Grandmother who was mayoress of Llangefni (late 50's?) and lived at Penrhos. Thanks, in advance. We're at the very beginning of our search and your help would be appreciated. Regards Nigel
